MUSWAY 8" Flat Design Subwoofer 4 OHMS- (MWS844)

MUSWAY is known for its small yet powerful products. The two new flat subwoofers continue this tradition. Their design makes them ideal for installations with limited depth and where flat installation dimensions are a must. With a mounting depth of just 78 mm for the 8" (20 cm) and a sensationally slim 87 mm for the 10" (25 cm) subwoofer, they are the ideal solution for special installations.

A particularly flat subwoofer should, of course, also sound good and be robust. Therefore, MUSWAY uses special and very hard cones made of fiberglass and carbon composites in its MWS models. No expense has been spared on the motors either: The woofers have 40 and 45 ounce magnets and are driven by 50 mm 2+2 ohm dual voice coils, which are also wound very long. With Xmax values of +/-15 mm, both woofers provide a decent amount of excursion. With 250 and 300 watts RMS, respectively, they are also very power-handling, so no compromises have to be made in this area either.
